Man arrested for spreading fake news on Facebook

India TV takes action on an individual who was spreading false about the staffs of India TV getting affected by Coronavirus.

The man wrote that the staffs of India TV are affected by COVID19 and also mocked their employees.

Taking into consideration false propaganda about their employees, India TV registered a case against the person after which the Noida police arrested him.

The police, meanwhile, are further investigating the matter. This comes days after some 28 employees at a prominent media house were tested positive for coronavirus.

Along with essential workers, journalists are also working hard during this pandemic and any type of false news do create unnecessary panic.
