Proposal made to name a pavilion in Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium after Suresh Raina

According to the reports in ANI, the concerned officials of Kanpur have written to the Government to name a pavilion after the Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina at Green Park Stadium.

Earlier, Suresh Raina met Raj Shekhar, Kanpur’s Commissioner of Police as well.

Suresh Raina retired from international cricket in 2020 August and had to miss Indian Premier League because of personal reasons.

Raina, now, will return to cricket and will feature for UP in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The former Indian cricketer has been training along with other players in a local camp and the 10-day training ended at the Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium.
