Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Group 1 examination on Sunday (January 3) happened today and the candidates who appeared for the exam were pleasantly surprised to see a question regarding Pariyerum Perumal.
There were also questions about Tamil reformist Periyar and popular book Velpaari on their papers.
Probably for the first time, there were 5+ questions about Periyar in the paper.
It was also the first time that candidates were asked a question on Tamil novel Velpaari, written by Madurai MP Su Venkatesan.
Responding to the same, the director Mari Selvaraj said that the aim of Pariyerum Perumal has been fulfilled now.
