Rohit Sharma who picked up a calf injury on Sunday will be missing both the ODI and the Test series against New Zealand., according to PTI.
Rohit, who was the stand-in captain for the final T20I, had to retire while batting on 60 after suffering from an injury while taking a quick single.
Rohit Sharma now, if ruled out, will become the second major India cricketer to be ruled out of the ODI series against the Black Caps. Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit’s opening partner in limited-overs formats, is also missing from the squad which will play 3 matches against New Zealand starting February 5 followed by two-Test match series.
