Shooting: Apurvi Chandela moves to World Number one; creates history!

Indian shooter Apurvi Chandela keeps writing that history book, as she now added another feather to her already illustrious cap, securing world number one position in the 10m Air Rifle rankings on Wednesday, thanks to her world record score of 252.9 to bag gold at the ISSF World Cup 2019 in New Delhi this year.

At No. 2 is Anjum Moudgil in 10m Air Rifle after her mixed team gold at the ISSF World Cup in Beijing.

The girls have already earned their Tokyo berths for the Olympics along with three other shooters – Saurabh Choudhary, Divyansh, Abhishek Verma.
