Veteran singer SP Balasubramaniyam has fulfilled his promise which he made years ago and donates his ancestral house to Kanchi math.
The house is situated at Thipparajavari Street in Nellore and he has requested the religious organization to set up a Sanskrit school at the premises. SPB handed it over to Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. The formalities for the same was completed on Wednesday.
SPB moved to Chennai five decades ago and since then a lot of people came forward to buy the house and nothing materialized.
