To epitome of uniqueness- Happy Birthday Samantha

Samantha.
When somebody talks about ‘Jesse’, Trisha strikes our mind first. VTV undoubtedly is a cult film. Having said that, I equally enjoyed Samantha in Ye Maaya Chesave. Also, I enjoyed Naga Chaitanya-Samantha as leads. Lesser did I know that they would end up together. The journey certainly was a fairytale to me. Now, coming back to her films, Ye Maaya Chesave was her debut, and she managed to grab hearts in her first.

She had Baana Kathadi which is still one of my favourite films. I don’t remember watching a lot of her films in between, and I went to Naan Ee without any expectations. It, yet again, was a classic. While Raja Mouli is the true star of the film, Everyone did their part so well that it clicked.

Naan Ee made me fall in love with Samantha and NEP gave me a Nithya Vasudevan. A damsel in distress. A character I cannot relate to, but I have friends who are as similar as Nithya. She reminded me of them. It was like watching my friend’s story on screen, and of course, I would pay more to watch because I love it.

In years, she grew up before our eyes to become one of the superstars in the industry. It is not easy to be there where she is now, it is not even easy to survive for years.

She lived up to the expectations of the fans such that she managed to give consecutive hits. Her recent films like Super Deluxe, Majili, U-Turn, and of course, Oh Baby. She pulled things off with ease. Her charming expressions, the way she manages to grab the audience with her eyes, her beautiful smile that escapes through each and every character she plays, the dance and the way she carries herself is certainly admirable.

While Tamil Cinema is yet to use her potential to the fullest, Telugu Cinema is making sure to produce characters that are tailor-made for her.

Samantha is more than just an actress, she is an icon. She stands up for what she believes in, still, she manages to keep that inner-child alive. Through her interviews, one can see all her goofiness as well as the positivity. She is an epitome to the uniqueness, and she deserves every single love she is getting today.

Of course, I don’t even know what should I begin when I have to talk about the chemistry she shares with Chinmayi Akka. Most of her films are dubbed by Chinmayi Akka, and it works well.

She is someone I have been following for years, and it is so nice to see her grow into a complete person she is today. It is so beautiful as well as magical.

Happy Birthday, Samantha!
