Umpire Bismillah Jan Shinwari passes away in bomb blast; Tarakai serious after car crash

International umpire from Afghanistan, Bismillah Jan Shinwari lost his life due to roadside blast in Afghanistan recently.

Shinwari’s family of seven died onspot while Shinwari was critical but lost his life on Saturday.

On the same day, Afghanistan batter Najeebullah Tarakai met with an accident while crossing the door.

Tarakai was crossing a road in Eastern Nangarhar when he was hit by a car and rushed to hospital. 

According to Cricbuzz, “Najeeb met with a road accident yesterday and he is in the ICU at the moment,” said Ahmadzai. “His condition is not stable and doctor said he is critically injured and we are not sure what is in store for him,” he said.

Tarakai made his international debut in March 2014 and has so far played 12 T20Is and one ODI for Afghanistan.

He recently played in the Shpageeza Cricket League where he represented Mis Ainak Knights.
