When Shardul Thakur smashed 6 sixes in an over!

Yes, you read that right. While we all had a lot of discussions on Shardul Thakur’s batting, the Mumbai cricketer had once smashed Six sixes in an over.

In 2006, Shardul Thakur made headlines after slamming six sixes in an over for Swami Vivekanand School against S Radhakrishnan School in the Plate Division of the Harris Shield schools cricket tournament.

Thakur destroyed spinner Vishal Dhruv for six sixes in an over and the best part is all the sixes went over the mid-wicket region.

Thakur scored 160 off 73 balls, which included 10 sixes and 20 fours.

Thakur who was trained by Dinesh Lad, father of Siddhesh Lad who went on to train Rohit Sharma as well, said that Thakur was an interesting talent after the match.

The star Thakur said that he would love to bring consistency to his game and wanted to smash knocks like that regularly.
