WI vs SL- Pollard smashes six sixes in an over

West Indies captain Kieron Pollard smashed six sixes in an over against Sri Lanka’s Akila Dananjaya in the 1st T20I of the Sri Lanka tour of West Indies.

Dananjaya was having an excellent night before his former Mumbai Indians teammate had decided to ruin it for him. Dananjaya, in the previous over, had picked up a hattrick which made Pollard to arrive earlier than he would have expected as the team was chasing just 132.

Batting first, Sri Lanka had Dickwella and Nissanka taking the team to a decent total while for West Indies, all the bowlers picked at least a wicket.

Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis gave the team a perfect start by adding 52 runs for the first wicket. Soon, Dananjaya broke things off by removing Lewis, Gayle and Pooran in back to back deliveries.

A couple of overs later, Pollard decided to take on Dananjaya and went all over the park before ending it with perfect six sixes. He then went on to bow down to his team who had stood up to applaud their captain.
