In a shocking incident, a 22 years old woman was gangraped by three men after dragging her from Shakur Basti railway platform.
The woman who lived nearby came to the station after a fight with her family members. She was alone at the platform and the men who saw her dragged her from the platform and gangraped her. The incident happened on Thursday night.
The woman went home and told her family about the incident who went on to file a complaint to the police.
After medical examination, the sexual assault was confirmed and a case has been filed.
“The three accused started to touch her inappropriately and when she resisted they dragged her into bushes near the railway station,” the report quoted a police officer as saying.
Currently, the police have formed teams to find the men and are looking for the CCTV evidence.
