24YO Man kills 9 people to cover murder of his lover

To hide the murder of a woman, a man from Bihar committed nine more murders by throwing the victims into a well in Telangana’s Warangal district last week, the police said on Monday.

The police in Warangal district of Telangana on Monday arrested a man accused of killing 10 people, three days after nine bodies were found in an abandoned well in the area.

The police stated that the accused, a native of Bihar, had been living in Warangal for the last six years. He was in a live-in relationship with a woman, identified as Rafiqa, who had three children and was separated from her husband.

Six people out of the nine deceased were Rafiqa’s kin, natives of West Bengal. The three other men, whose bodies were recovered from the well, worked at the same gunny bag manufacturing unit as Rafiqa’s kin.

On March 6th, while returning home after visiting Rafiqa’s family, the man mixed sleeping pill in Rafiqa’s food and threw her out of the running train.

He then killed nine persons who reportedly found out about murder, including six members of the family, by mixing sleeping pills in their food and then throwing them one by one into a nearby well.

The police commissioner said the CCTV footage of the accused leaving his house on the evening of May 20 and returning the next morning provided the vital clue to the investigating team.

In the first place, he killed her partner because Rafiqa warned him for trying to sexually exploit her daughter.

“We have no evidence that there is any other person involved in the crime,” the police chief said.
