Kim Jong-un has appeared in public for the first time in 20 days, North Korean state media says.
According to the reports he was seen at the ribbon cutting ceremony of a new fertilizer company.
The reports added that the people broke into thunderous response when he appeared on stage.
According to the news, he was accompanied by North Korea officials as well as his sister.
Last week, a rumour surfaced that Kim Jong-un failed to recover from his surgery and the media even started to report that he has died.
Speculation about his health intensified after he did not attend his late grandfather’s birthday celebrations on April 15, the most important date in North Korea’s calendar, known as “Day of the Sun.”
