In a shocking incident recently, a man shared nude pictures of his mother in order to blackmail her for the property.
The shameful incident took place in the Kota district of Rajasthan. Police have now arrested the accused identified as Deepak Tiwari.
According to a report in the news agency PTI, the nude pictures of the woman were shared in the WhatsApp group having relatives of the accused. Police said Deepak wanted his mother to hand over the ownership papers of their ancestral house.
The fight over the family property is going on for more than 20 years now, right after the death of her husband.
On May 13, the 75-year-old mother of the accused in her complaint to police said, “I was performing a ‘hawan’ for my late husband when my son (accused) came and sprayed some substance on me. I started feeling itchy and rushed to the bathroom to take a bath.”
Her son then took some images of her, shared it in his family WhatsApp group.
When the relatives told her about the incident, she filed a police complaint.
The accused has been booked under sections 509 A, 509 B (outraging a woman’s modesty ) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 67 of the IT act.
