T20 WC, AUS v BAN: Healy smashes records as Australia wins big!

Come World Cup, Come Healy. After having forgetful outings before the World Cup, Healy is smashing records now here at Australia.

On Thursday, Australia took on Bangladesh in a must-win game and the team played like one, thanks to Healy and Mooney.

Despite being dropped multiple times, the duo showed brilliance with the bat and took Australia to 189 in their 20 overs. Healy crossed her fifty in just 26 deliveries and went on to score 83 of just 53 deliveries. Mooney managed 81 off 58 deliveries.

In this process, Healy became the highest run-getter among wicketkeepers in the World Cup T20 and also she now holds the record for most dismissals in the tournament.

In return, Bangladesh had no answers for the Australian bowlers and they end up scoring 103 in their 20 overs. Schutt grabbed three wickets, Jess Jonassen managed two.

With India already qualified for the tournament, Australia will be competing against New Zealand for the spot in the semifinal.
