Watch: ‘Ball lelo nahi to bolega retirement le rahe hain,’ Dhoni to Bangar

After a poor 2018, MS Dhoni had a great start to 2019 with three consecutive fifties and helped India to win the ODI series. The Wicket-keeper was also the man of the series for his great run.

Last time when India was playing England, Dhoni took the match ball which led to serious questions about his retirement. Later, it was revealed that he

had taken it to show the condition of the ball to bowling coach. Though, the rumours had already made rounds that even head Ravi Shastri had to deny any such news.

On Friday, again, Dhoni took the match ball after the conclusion of the third ODI and was seen handing it over to Sanjay Bangar. While giving the ball, Dhoni said ‘Ball lelo nahi to bolega retirement le rahe hain’ which is translated to “Take the ball or else they will say I am retiring.’ Here’s the video:
