Indian pacer Shardul Thakur who began his outdoor training recently became the first Indian to do so after lockdown.

India is currently facing nationwide lockdown till June 1st and the Government has announced a few relaxation amid lockdown 4.0.

Thakur trained at a local ground at Boisar in Maharashtra’s Palghar district along with some domestic players.

“Yes, we practised today. It was good and definitely pleasing to practice after two months,” Thakur told PTI.

An official said that the Palghar Dahanu Taluka Sports Association started the net sessions at Boisar, which is around 110 kms away from Mumbai.

However, it looks like BCCI is not happy with Thakur for beginning the training without informing them.
