Domestic violence: Man hits wife with pin roller for ‘tasteless’ food!

Ever since the lockdown started there is a huge rise in the number of domestic violence.

In yet another incident, a man smashed his wife with a pin roller for making tasteless Khichdi.

The accused, 39-year-old Abhijeet Sonkule works at a private company and lives with his wife Jyoti in Andheri East. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Sonkule assaulted Jyoti with a rolling pin (used to make chappatis).

He also warned his wife not to shout else he would kill her.

However, Jyoti screamed out loud for help and her neighbor recused her. She says that this is not the first time.

Jyoti was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Sonkule under sections 324, 323, 504 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
