Wishes are pouring in for MS Dhoni who announced his retirement on Saturday. Right from Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli everyone spoke about the impact MS Dhoni had and paid tribute to the World Cup winning captain.
The current Indian captain Virat Kohli shared two videos from many partnerships they had. Kohli said that these two videos are enough to show the love, trust and understanding between them.
The video consists of the world cup match against South Africa where Dhoni would defend the final ball of the penultimate over in order to give the opportunity to Kohli to finish the innings. Kohli led from the front with the bat with an unbeaten 72.
The second match was the 2016 virtual quarter final against Australia in the T20 World Cup. In that match, Dhoni kept pushing Kohli to convert ones to twos. India went on to win the match as well.
Kohli took to his official Twitter handle and captioned the post, “Thank you for these moments skip. I couldn’t explain the mutual trust, respect and understanding we share better than these two videos I’m posting here today. The first one explains perfectly well who he is , selfless in the most intense moments….”
