Vettaikaaran director Babu Sivan dies at 54

Director Babu Sivan had passed away due to illness. He was 54 and was survived by his wife and two daughters.

The director is known for his work, the film Vettaikaaran which starred Vijay and Anushka Shetty as the lead.

Babu Sivan breathed his last at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in Chennai. His mortal remains will be kept at his house in Madambakkam, Chennai for homage.

According to reports, the director was undergoing financial crisis as well.

He was first admitted in the private hospital later was taken to Government hospital after doctors advised dialysis for kidney which wasn’t working well.

Unfortunately, the director passed away on Monday.
