Jofra Archer’s old tweets go viral after he dismissed Chris Gayle on 99

After missing out the first half of the tournament, Chris Gayle is doing wonders with the bat once again this season. On Friday, he smashed 99 before getting out to Jofra Archer.

Right after his dismissal, Archer’s old tweets resurfaced on Social media. One of the tweets, he wrote- “Cg don’t hurt yourself boy” and in the other, “I know if I was bowling I know he wasn’t getting da 100”.

After being sent to bat first, Punjab lost Mandeep Singh early and then Gayle joined Rahul and added 120 runs, where the latter’s contribution was of just 46 runs. The team went to score 184.

Rajasthan Royals went on to chase down Punjab’s target of 185 with ease, thanks to Stokes who went on to score a brilliant fifty.
