Big names to take part in T20 club tournament in Bengaluru

Leading names from Indian cricket team will take part in club T20 tournament in Bengaluru from Monday.

The tournament, comprising four teams, will run from January 4-12 and has been organised to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Falcon Sports Club.

The national players who will be taking part in the competition include Veda Krishnamurthy, Jemimah Rodrigues, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Punam Raut, Radha Yadav, Vanitha V R, Nuzhat Parveen, Anuja Patil, Thirush Kamini.

Indian women’s team are yet to play an international game since T20 World Cup which happened in March 2020. Since then, a few players went on to play Women’s T20 Challenge.

A lot of tours got cancelled because of coronavirus pandemic while Indian mens team are currently in Australia.
