PAKISTAN’S FLUNK CONTINUES!

When you play against a team like New Zealand, you got to give more than 100% to match their level. Such is the potential of these teams. For a young Pakistan team that was too much to ask for. The confidence level was the main difference.
Kane Williamson was rested and Southee captained the Kiwis. He opted to field first, considering the dew and the pitch conditions.

It was a disastrous show from the Pakistan team with only two batsmen crossing a double-digit figure. Nine catches in the match denote how the players have struggled to time the ball. Babar Azam scored 41 and Hasan Ali scored 23; Pakistan was all-out for 105. Southee and Rance picked three wickets.

Conditions were difficult to bat on and the Kiwis were able to adapt. After losing two quick wickets, Tom Bruce came in and he along with Munro steadied the chase. Taylor came in next to finish off the things. Munro stood not-out on 49.
Munro was the player of the match for his all-round performance. New Zealand goes one nil up in the T20I series.
