Big Breaking: Robin Uthappa traded to CSK

Rajasthan Royals have traded wicketkeeper-batter Robin Uthappa to Chennai Super Kings in an all-cash deal for the upcoming season of IPL.

Uthappa, who was with Kolkata Knight Riders for a long time, was picked up Rajasthan Royals in 2020 auction.

The batter went on to score 196 runs in 12 matches.

This will be his sixth franchise.

2009-2010- Royal Challengers Bangalore
2011 to 2013- Pune Warriors India
2014 to 2019- Kolkata Knight Riders
2020- Chennai Super Kings **

The batter has been traded for Rs 3 crores.

In IPL, he has more than 4600 runs in IPL with a strike-rate close to 130.
