This match was probably one of the best starts we could ask for the tournament as the match went down to the wire with RCB pulling it off a good win in the final delivery.

Kohli called it right at the toss, even to his surprise, opted to bowl first.

After a few couple of hits and misses, Rohit Sharma ran himself out and Suryakumar Yadav joined Lynn. The duo added a good partnership with Yadav making 31 while Lynn added 49 to the total.
Ishan Kishan then had a couple of big shots for his 28 but the lower order had no answers for Harshal Patel’s brilliant variations.
The team waa 94 for 2 at one point but had managed only 159 in their 20 overs.
Patel ended with 5 for 27, Jamieson had 1 for 27.
In return, Kohli did surprise everyone by promoting Washington Sundar to open the innings. However, it didn’t work well as he made only 10 runs.
Rajat Patidar got out early as well but Kohli and Maxwell took on bowlers to add important partnership.
The skipper had 33 runs while Maxwell made 39. When the duo got out, AB de Villiers came in, destroyed the bowlers, made 49 from just 27 before getting out in the penultimate over.
While Mumbai tried to comeback in the death overs by picking wickets, they were probably 15 to 20 runs short and as a result, they once again end in the wrong side of the result.
In the final ball, the team needed only one run and Harshal Patel did well to tough and run, to take the team to a good win.
