Former PM Manmohan Singh tests positive for coronavirus, admitted

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been tested positive for coronavirus.

He has been admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi on Monday.

On Sunday, Manmohan Singh had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on combating the second wave of coronavirus.

Last year, he was admitted in the hospital due to drug reaction and was in ICU as a precaution. He had tested negative at that time.

He is a known diabetic and heart patient. He has undergone two bypass surgeries.
