Former cricketer Sanjay Dobbal passes away due to COVID19

Former Cricketer Sanjay Dobbal passed away on Monday. He had severe pneumonia and due to late detection of COVID19, he was in a serious condition.

Aakash Chopra sought the help of Twitter and many cricketers including Virender Sehwag posted regarding the need of plasma therapy and asked blood from the people who recovered from COVID19 recently. However, it was too late.

Aakash Chopra now confirmed the news of his demise.
Shocked and saddened. Lost an important member of our cricket fraternity today. Sanjay Dobhal bhai (53) is no more. There isn’t a cricketer in this country who he didn’t help…and did it with a smile. Always. Went away too soon…may your soul R.I.P,” his tweet read.
