Four women cricketers granted NOC to play for The Hundred

The BCCI has granted No Objection Certificate for four women cricketers including Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur to play in the upcoming, inaugural edition of The Hundred.

“Harmanpreet, Mandhana, Deepti and another player have got the clearance as the BCCI has granted the NOC for them,” a BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.

The four players will stay in the UK after India’s tour to England. India’s tour begins with a one-off Test at Bristol on 16 June and concludes with the third and final T20I on 15 July.

The players for the tour are yet to be announced. In fact, the selectors are yet to pick national coach. The selected players will report on 27th May. However, it is not known how they will travel to the UK as flights from India have been suspended by the British government.
