BWF Para-Badminton Championships: India finish with staggering 12 medals!

While we are busy celebrating the victory of PV Sindhu, India ended the Para-Badminton Championships with 12 medals with three Golds.

India’s best-ever show came in 2015 where they won four Golds and 12 medals in total.

The World Number one Pramod Bhagat bagged the singles Gold in SL3 category on Sunday which is his fifth Gold in 2019, after winning the doubles Gold along with Manoj Sarkar on Saturday in the SL3-4 category where they took down the Indian pair Nitesh Kumar and Tarun Dhillon in a thrilling three-sets. Tarun bagged another Silver in the SL4 category after being forced to retire with a twisted leg.
