IN A NUTSHELL:
The disputed land in Ayodhya goes to the Hindus for the construction of Ram Mandir. The Sunni Waqf Board will get five acres of alternate land, which will be accorded either by the state or the Centre. Board will be set up within 3 months for the construction.
A suitable plot of land measuring 5 acres to be handed over to Sunni Waqf Board either by Central Government or State Government.

The Babri mosque wasn’t constructed on vacant land. An underlying structure did exist. Underlying structure was not of the Islamic religion as artefacts, architectural evidence had distinct non-Islamic nature. ASI report can be lent credence to the underlying structure was dated 12th century. However, it said ASI also said that the structure was not a specific temple.
