PM Modi on JNU attack

Well, PM Modi is yet to speak. Once he speaks out about the attacks against the students, we will be updating the story. Which we don’t think is happening. Thank you.

(Space for Modi’s speech)

….

For uninitiated, The ongoing protest by the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) is largely over the proposed fee hike provision in the Draft Hostel Manual.

Two days ago, there were attacks on the students of the University by masked goons.

The masked goons, who allegedly are associated with ABVP, went about storming the campus, breaking glasses, rampaging through hostels and attacking students and teachers alike. At least 28 people, including JNU Students’ Union (JNUSU) president Aishe Ghosh, were injured as chaos reigned on the campus for over two hours.
