Another Kambala racer Nishant Shetty overtook Srinivas Gowda’s record recently.
Nishant Shetty from Bajagoli Jogibettu recorded 143m in 13.68 seconds. If calculated for 100m he clocks it in 9.51 seconds. His speed is faster than Srinivasa Gowda who recently clocked 9.55 seconds.
Recently, Srinivas Gowda became a sensation when he clocked 9.55 seconds to complete his race. He was compared to Usain Bolt and even the Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju was ready to train the youngster. However, the youngster wanted to continue with Kambala and said no to SAI trials as both Kambala and track run are different sport.
