BCCI to conduct women’s one-day tournament along with Vijay Hazare Trophy

After a real long time, there is an update regarding the resumption of Women’s cricket in India. After multiple cancellations of international tours, BCCI have finally announced that the women’s one-day is likely to happen along with men’s Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The apex body has successfully managed to conduct Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and now, the body is all set to conduct Women’s one-day, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Vinoo Mankad Trophy.

Talking about the same, Jay Shah wrote(according to ESPN Cricinfo), “…it was extremely important for us to ensure that women’s cricket takes place and I am extremely happy to inform you that we are going to conduct the Senior Women’s One-day tournament simultaneously with the Vijay Hazare Trophy [men’s 50-over tournament] and follow it up with Vinoo Mankad Trophy Under-19.”
