Big breaking: IPL 2021 suspended

IPL suspended until further notice due to Corona outbreak

The ongoing IPL 2021 has been suspended due to multiple coronavirus cases across teams over past couple of days.

At first, it was Kolkata’s Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier who had tested positive ahead of their game against Bangalore. Several players had reported ill, had isolated.

The match between Kolkata and Bangalore was first suspended.

Due to the spread, Delhi Capitals team entered quarantine while SRH and MI skipped practice ahead of their game.

CSK also reported three cases, none of them were players.

Today, Delhi’s Amit Mishra and SRH’s Wriddhiman Saha had tested positive.

Due to increase in cases, the tournament has been suspended.

According to ANI, Vice-President BCCI Rajeev Shukla has confirmed that the tournament will be suspended for this season.
