Chennai: Ignoring Corona scare, 5000 gather to protest against CAA

Despite Government’s advisory on Corona Virus safety, more than 5000 people gathered to protest against CAA on March 18th, increasing the fear of transmission of Corona Virus.

The incident took place near the Chepauk where people held slogans against CAA.

With the increasing number of Corona outbreak, Government asked people to stay indoors and avoid public gatherings.

India is still in the stage 2 of the outbreak which means the virus is locally transmitted still.

Many of the CAA protests were called off due to the spread of Corona Virus.
