Last year, Lynn opened up to Daily Press Mail about his mother’s cancer. Lynn had signed for two T20 tournaments in 2019 which got postponed due to financial issues.

Talking about it, Lynn said that it was a blessing in disguise. The cancelation means, he will be able to spend more time with his mother. He also added that she is a fighter.

Lynn is currently in the West Indies for the Caribbean Premier League. After CPL, he will reach Dubai where he will undergo proper tests before joining the Mumbai Indians camp.

Lynn will feature for the defending champions for the first time after being released from the Kolkata Knight Riders squad.

The IPL will begin from September 19th and will be played till November 10th.
