Playback singer and voice artist Chinmayi Sripaada is singing and sending songs to people who ask for personalized birthday or anniversary wishes for years, but now, she will be doing it for the charity.
People can request any number of songs to Chinmayi who has her DM on Social media open. Chinmayi then would send an account number of a daily worker who is currently struggling without any job due to the lockdown. After the person donates to the worker, they must send a screenshot to Chinmayi and then she would send the personalized wish.
She started the same a few days ago, and her inbox is currently overflowing with requests. She says that she sang more than a hundred songs in a day, thanks to the requests and is ready to do more.
Today, she took to Twitter to write that many people are in need of help currently and she is ready to sing more, asked the people to spread the word.
So, if you are looking to surprise your loved ones, you can very well request a song as well as you can donate a few money to the charity as well. This will put a smile on the faces of the workers and of course, your loved ones.
