Djokovic goes past Federer, reaches final

Novak Djokovic once again proves why he is up there with a stunning performance against Roger Federer.

Federer who is all tired and hurt didn’t look bad at least in the first set where he was leading 4-1 before Djokovic shifted gears.

Federer went down in the tiebreaker in the first and we never really saw the man coming back again, thanks to the masterclass from Djokovic.

Djokovic wasn’t playing his best though. He had poor games but it was enough to go past Federer who was below par.

He had it easier in the third with a 6-3 win.

Djokovic will now meet the winner of Zverev and Thiem.

On the other hand, Kenin dominated the world number one Barty to reach the finals where she will meet Muguruza.

The latter demolished Halep in straight sets to get back to the final of a grand slam.
