US Open all set to happen in empty stadiums

The US Open 2020 is all set to happen in empty stadium in the scheduled dates at Newyork from August 31 to September 13, 2020.

It has been reported that the Governor Cuomo and New York State approving the occurrence of the US Open in 2020. However, the Cincinati Open has been changed from Mason, Ohio to Flushing Meadows.

The governor said that US Open schedule is official, but fans can enjoy it only on television. “The tennis authorities are going to be taking extraordinary precautions, but that’s going to take place.”

Mike Dowse, USTA Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director stated that they are incredibly excited that Governor Cuomo and New York State have today approved our plan to host the 2020 US Open and 2020 Western & Southern Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

“We recognize the tremendous responsibility of hosting one of the first global sporting events in these challenging sines, and we wit do so in the safest manner possible, mitigating all potential risks,” he said.
