Ganguly likely to be the next BCCI President

The former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly likely to take over as the president of the BCCI. Also, the other contestant of the elections, Brijesh Patel likely to be the IPL Chairman. Ganguly, who is the current president of Bengal cricket association, will have to resign from the position if he takes over.

Also, Gujarat Cricket Association’s Jay Shah applied for secretary and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s Arun Dhumal applied for treasurer.

Jay Shah is Amit Shah’s son and Dhumal is Anurag Thakur’s younger brother.

The last day to file the application for the election is October 14 and the election will take place on October 23.
