Happy Birthday, Keerthy Suresh.

Director Vetrimaaran once said in an interview that as an artist you need to do a few movies to survive in the industry and once the people start to recognize you, make sure you keep up the name. This well and truly applies for Keerthy. During the start of her career, she did take up a lot of projects which neither had a “big” name nor a great role for her. Once people started recognizing her, came Mahanati. Like the Tsunami she completely washed away many baseless trolls.

For someone who hesitated initially to take up the role, she completely was flawless. It is not that easy to grab attention especially when you are acting along with Dulquer Salman because his screen presence is something extraordinary and it’s difficult to look beyond him. It is a movie for a lifetime.

To talk about trolls, ‘Madhikkama apdiye poite irukanum’ as she says.

I always admired how she doesn’t act and be herself wherever she goes. How difficult is that?

Most importantly, she dubs for her movies. With some exciting movies ahead, I cannot wait.
