Happy Birthday, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar!

There is this movie called Thaara Thappatai. The movie starred Sasi Kumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The latter’s name in the movie is Sooravali. I couldn’t find a better name for her. No, I’m not meaning it in a bad way. She is a Sooravali who will swipe you off with any role she plays. She do make you fall in love with her dance.

She carries that aura, the positivity which only a few people possess. Most importantly, she knows what she is doing and she does it right every time.

People seldom speak their mind and not many stars do that. They fear what would happen, they fear that they might attract haters. Varalaxmi is a class apart and she boldly stands for what she believes in. It is hard to find someone like that.

She is the epitome of being strong. She also has a heart of gold and through her foundation, she is doing things which she normally doesn’t like to publicize.

I watched her in Poda Podi, her dialogue delivery and the way she performed rattled me.

She only got better which movies and her dedication and hard work have gained her a separate place in people’s heart and that’s why she is called ‘Makkal Selvi’

It is not easy to gain something like that. With 25+ movies in multiple languages, Varalaxmi is here to stay.

I do have a dream of meeting her and having a conversation with her just to feel that positive vibration and just to know what keeps her going and how she can handle everything with ease.

Dear Varu,
Thank you for being you and making this place a better one for all of us. Hope you continue to rock as you normally do. Loads of love and I wish to meet you soon.
