“I will speak to Rahul”: Ganguly responds to Dravid calling off Bumrah’s test

Recently, most of the cricketers are avoiding to go to NCA because of “Poor Training”.
Bumrah was one among them and when he was injured, he didn’t go to NCA but to a private specialist.

The Indian pacer who reached full fitness now went to NCA recently for a fitness test. Miffed Rahul Dravid called off the test reportedly.

When asked about this, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said:
“I will find out what exactly is the reason. NCA has to be the first and final point of every international cricketer.”

“It’s just been a couple of months since I have taken over. I will speak to Rahul (Dravid). I met him a few times. We will understand the problem and solve it. From outside, and who has not seen this very closely, Bumrah has been injured for a while. I was not part of the system while he was sent. What happened? But if you ask me, NCA is a place for Indian cricketers. Everything has to go through the NCA so we will find out,” the former India captain added.

Bumrah was not the first cricketer to avoid going to NCA but also others including Hardik Pandya.
