Tamil Nadu pacer T Natarajan has been named as the replacement of ‘mystery spinner’ Varun Chakravarthy for the tour of Australia.
Varun Chakravarthy had shoulder injury, while it didn’t affect his bowling, he had it issues while throwing. According to reports, it was one of the reasons why Varun was made to field in the inner ring circle by KKR.
In the squad announced on October 26th, Varun was a part of T20 squad. Now, he will be replaced by Natarajan who had a good season with SRH this year.
Meanwhile, Indian captain Virat Kohli will be returning home due to paternity leave after the first Test in January.
Rohit Sharma is likely to miss limited overs series but will be joining the team for the Tests, according to reports.
