I’m human, I feel pressure: Kohli on World Cup loss

In the recently concluded World Cup, India faced heartbreak when they were knocked out by New Zealand in the Semi-final of the tournament.

Captain Virat Kohli managed to score one run before getting out to Trent Boult. India, despite the heroics of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni, fell 18 runs short of New Zealand’s target.

Speaking of dealing with pressure and failures, Kohli said, “Of course, I am human and even I feel the pressure and there is no denying that.”
Adding further he said, “Deep within I believed the team would need me to stand up and deliver in one of the games. I believed that I would come not out, but that was my inner ego.”

Currently, India just destroyed Bangladesh in the Test series and still leads the World Championship Table by a huge margin.
