IND v NZ, 3rd ODI: New Zealand whitewash India!

After facing humiliation in the T20I series, New Zealand came back stronger to take the ODI series 3-0 against India.

Batting first, India lost Mayank Agarwal early but Prithvi Shaw showed some resistance for his forty runs before running himself out. Virat Kohli’s poor show continued once again as the Indian captain managed only nine runs.

Once again Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul took up the responsibility and the duo added important runs. However, Shreyas Iyer had to go for 62. KL Rahul, on the other hand, got to his fourth ODI hundred and made 112 before his dismissal. He was accompanied by Manish Pandey who gathered important runs of 42, took the team to 296.

Chasing the same, Guptill and Nicholls added 106 runs for the first wicket and Nicholls carried on after Guptill got for 66. India then quickly dismissed Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor after their cameos. However, Colin De Grandhomme took the game from the visitors with his unbeaten 58 to take the series 3-0.
