IND vs AUS: Steve Smith misses training due to back soreness

Australian batter Steve Smith missed today’s training after suffering from lower-back soreness.

Smith came for the practice and participated in team’s preparation. He did a few strectches and exercise drills. Soon when the team was getting ready to play touch football-which is a part of official training now- Smith walked back to the dressing room with some pain.

He was accompanied by the Physiotherapist. While the team began the practice, Smith didn’t make it to the practice and was reported that he was receiving back rub. As the team continued to practice, the top-order batter took rest for the day.

He is expected to join the team for the training tomorrow and is expected to be 100 per cent before the first Test.

This, in a way, is a scare for Australia who have lost a few players to injury in recent times.

David Warner, Marcus Stoinis, Will Pucovski, Cameron Green are a few players who suffered injury in recent times.
