IND vs ENG- Shreyas Iyer ruled out of ODIs

Indian batter Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the remaining ODI series.

He has picked up an injury recently and according to ESPN Cricinfo, he has dislocated his shoulder and is likely to miss the first half of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League as well. Shreyas Iyer is the captain of the Delhi Capitals.

Meanwhile, India had managed to take 1-0 lead in the ODI series.

India began well with 64 runs partnership between the opening pair. Dhawan continued to score, ended with 94. With fifties from Kohli, Rahul and debutant Krunal Pandya, India reached 317.

In return, England were 135 for 1 at one point before the pacers took over. Debutant Prasidh Krishna had 4 wickets, Thakur had three while Bhuvneshwar Kumar had two. England got out for just 251.
