India’s playing XI for Boxing Day Test announced

BCCI has announced the playing XI for the upcoming 2nd Test against Australia.

India have included Rishabh Pant ahead of Saha, Shubman Gill will be making his debut as well. He replaces Indian opener Prithvi Shaw who has a poor outing.

Ajinkya Rahane will captain the Test in the absence of Virat Kohli and is expected to promote himself up the order.

In the bowling department, Siraj will be replacing Shami. The latter has been ruled out of the Test series because of fracture in his bowling arm.

Ravi Jadeja who missed the T20I series has been named in the XI as well.
