Madhya Pradesh man held for making alcohol from sanitizer

In one of the unique cases, a man named Indal Singh Rajput, was arrested in Madhya Pradesh for trying to make alcohol from the sanitizers.

Alcohol is one of the main components of the hand sanitizers.

Since there is lockdown and the liquor shops are closed, he decided to make his own alcohol. He used hand sanitizers that had 72% alcohol.

It was a unique case, said superintendent of police Monika Shukla. Rajput was booked under the Excise Act, she said.
